Bill Engvall to headline at Pearl River Resort in August

CHOCTAW, Miss. (June 28, 2007) – Blue Collar Comedian, Bill Engvall will headline at Pearl River Resort’s Silver Star Convention Center Saturday, Aug. 11, at 8 p.m.

Engvall, who made the phrase, “Here’s Your Sign,” famous, is one fourth of the Blue Collar Comedy tour and television series. During his comedy career, Engvall has released seven solo comedy albums and starred in the film “Delta Farce” which opened in theaters in May. His most recent project is the “Bill Engvall Show” which begins airing on the TBS network July 17. Tickets to see Engvall are now on sale and are $45-$35.

Pearl River Resort has several exciting acts headlining over the next few months including: renowned rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd on Friday, Sept. 7, at 9 p.m., Country Music Hall of Fame inductee, Randy Owen, from the legendary group Alabama, Saturday, Sept. 29, at 8 p.m. and famed country music duo Big and Rich with special guests Cowboy Troy and James Otto on Friday, Oct. 12, at 9 p.m.
